This policy explains what information Construction Guesser collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account details (if you sign up): email address, player name, and sign-in information from Google if you use Google sign-in.
• Game activity: your guesses, results, points and the time taken to solve.
• Fair-play signals: a scrambled (hashed) version of your connection address and a random device ID, used only to detect cheating. We don't store your raw IP address.
• On your device: guests' stats and progress are stored in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Learn more at how Google uses data.

How we use it

• To run the game, save your scores and show the leaderboard (only your player name and points are public).
• To prevent cheating and keep the leaderboard fair.

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Game results, guesses and fair-play signals are kept for as long as your account exists so your all-time stats and leaderboard ranking stay complete. Days run from midnight to midnight US Central Time (CST/CDT); a puzzle you started but didn't finish by midnight Central is saved as a loss. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your choices

You can play without an account. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by contacting the site owner.

Children and minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, because US privacy law (COPPA) doesn't allow us to collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we don't verify ages beyond the honor system — if we learn an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it and its data.

Children under 13 can still play as guests: guest play stores stats only in your own browser and sends no personal information to us. Parents: contact the site owner to review or delete any information about your child.
